Pre-Cambrian stromatolites

Description: I spotted this lump of rock in the bank on the way up to Blinman Pools. The wavy pattern on the surface is a cross section through a stromatolite, a form of algae that builds itself up in layers on the sea bed. For scale the A$10 note is about 10cm long.
