Cycad tree fern in King's Canyon

Description: Cycads are a Gondwanan relic, virtually unchanged from the days of the great southern continent Gondwana, millions of years ago. I later saw them in a more usual rainforest habitat, but to have one in the Outback was unusual. Height about 10ft.
